Corrections Policy

Corrections Policy

Karamna Design Review is committed to providing accurate and reliable information in all our articles. We cover topics in architecture, interior design, and hospitality, striving for factual correctness and clarity in every piece we publish. Maintaining the trust of our readers is a core principle.

Despite our diligent efforts, errors can occur. This policy outlines how we address inaccuracies and ensure transparency with our audience.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We take all necessary steps to verify facts, dates, names, and design specifics before publication. Our editorial team reviews content to meet high standards of quality and precision. We believe in correcting mistakes promptly and openly.

Types of Corrections

We classify corrections into three categories:

Minor Fixes

These include grammatical errors, typos, misspellings, or minor factual inaccuracies that do not change the core meaning or understanding of an article. We update these directly in the article without a formal correction notice, as they typically do not affect the reader’s comprehension of design concepts or architectural facts.

Significant Corrections

This category covers factual errors that impact the meaning of the content. Examples include incorrect project names, misattributed designers, incorrect dates for significant architectural developments, or misleading descriptions of design elements. When we make a significant correction, we update the article and add a clear correction note.

Retractions

A retraction occurs when an article contains fundamental errors, is found to be based on fraudulent information, or violates our ethical guidelines. This is a rare action reserved for severe cases. If an article is retracted, we remove it from public view and replace it with a notice explaining the retraction.

How Corrections Are Noted

For significant corrections, a notice appears at the top or bottom of the updated article. This note states what was changed, the reason for the change, and the date of the correction. This ensures our readers are aware of any alterations to the published content related to design reviews or industry insights.

Reporting an Error

We encourage our readers to help us maintain accuracy. If you believe you have found an error in an article on Karamna Design Review, please report it to us. Provide the article title, a link to the article, and a detailed description of the error you identified.

Please send your reports to our editorial team at: [email protected]

Review Process and Timeline

Once we receive an error report, our editorial team will review it. We aim to acknowledge receipt of your report within 2 business days. Our team will then investigate the reported inaccuracy by consulting our sources and cross-referencing information related to architecture and design.

We will determine the appropriate action within 5 business days of acknowledging the report. If a correction is required, we will implement it promptly according to the guidelines outlined above.

Transparency About Correction History

All significant corrections are documented clearly on the respective articles. This public record ensures full transparency regarding any changes made to our published design reviews and analyses. Our aim is to build and keep reader trust through clear communication.
